A frame is locked around the neck of a lady or gent spectator. Then a long sword is pushed right through the frame and her neck. The sword can be shown both rigid and "sharp" and the prop works very smoothly. You show how the sword runs straight thru the stocks by inserting the sword. Audience sees the sword clearly passes through the middle of the stocks and comes out the other side. Even break a balloon with the sword! Now lock the stocks around a spectator's neck (or your assistant's leg). Your victim JUMPS when she feels the tip! You continue to thrust the sword straight through your victim's neck and out the other side. SCREAMS from your audience! The sword is now removed. Smoke can be blown through the stocks and the smoke comes out the other side of her neck!!! But your victim returns unharmed.
